- 1
Waikiki pickup
Board the shuttle in Waikiki. The operator assigns your exact pickup location and time according to your hotel when you book.
- 2
Diamond Head – Amelia Earhart Lookout
Photograph the southeast coast from a lookout on the eastern side of Diamond Head. The lookout is associated with spectators watching Amelia Earhart depart on her solo flight from Hawaii to North America.
- 3
Halona Blowhole
Observe a lava tube formed by eruptions around Koko Head. When wave conditions align, seawater is pushed through its narrow opening to create a geyser-like spray.
- 4
Makapuʻu Point
Take in the windward coastline, sea cliffs near Waimānalo, and offshore Mānana, also called Rabbit Island.
- 5
Hawaiian coffee and macadamia nut tastings
Visit a local shop beneath banyan trees for Kona coffee and macadamia nut samples. Hawaiian chocolates and other treats are available to purchase.
- 6
Mokoliʻi (Chinaman’s Hat) and the Kualoa mountains
View the offshore islet and the Kualoa mountain backdrop, known from films including Jurassic Park. The island’s familiar nickname refers to its resemblance to a traditional straw hat.
- 7
Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout
Enjoy views across windward Oahu from the Koʻolau cliffs. This often windy site is associated with a pivotal victory in King Kamehameha I’s campaign to unite the Hawaiian Islands.
- 8
North Shore lunch stop
Purchase garlic shrimp or another local dish at a Hawaiian restaurant. Vegetarian and non-shellfish choices are available. Lunch is at your own expense, and the itinerary recommends bringing cash.
- 9
Tropical fruit stand
Browse a North Shore stand selling fresh mangos, drinking coconuts, and other tropical fruit. Purchases cost extra.
