Fun in the Sun Sail on the Makani Catamaran
- 2 hours (approx.)
Overview
Spend two easygoing hours on the water aboard Makani, a 64-foot sailing catamaran based at Kewalo Basin in Honolulu. The Fun in the Sun Sail cruises along Oʻahu's south shore past the Waikiki coastline, with views of Diamond Head, the Honolulu skyline and the Koʻolau Mountains behind the city. There is no packed itinerary: guests stay aboard, settle into the covered cabin or the open-air decks and enjoy the ocean breeze, music and the scenery while the crew sails the boat. Dolphins, sea turtles and other marine life are sometimes seen in these waters. No sailing experience is needed, and the sail suits families, couples, groups of friends and celebrations.
