Sunset Sail on the Makani Catamaran
- 2 hours (approx.)
Overview
Watch the day end from the water aboard Makani, a 64-foot sailing catamaran based at Kewalo Basin in Honolulu. The Sunset Sail cruises along Oʻahu's south shore past the Waikiki coastline as the sun drops toward the Pacific, with Diamond Head and the Honolulu skyline in view while the sky changes colour. Guests stay aboard for the two-hour evening cruise, choosing the covered cabin or the open-air decks, with music, ocean breezes and drinks available from the onboard bar while the crew sails the boat. No sailing experience is needed, and the sail suits couples, families, groups of friends and celebrations such as anniversaries, birthdays and proposals. Sunset views depend on clouds and weather, and the departure time follows the season's sunset.
