Waikiki BYOB Sunset Swim & Sail
- 2 hours (approx.)
Overview
Sail out of the Ala Wai Boat Harbor at the end of the day aboard Hokulani, Three Tiki Sailing's modern three-hull trimaran, for a sunset cruise that also stops to swim. The crew anchors in clear water in front of Diamond Head so guests can jump in and swim before the boat sails toward the horizon as the sun goes down over the Pacific. The 1,000-square-foot deck has seating for every passenger, a large shaded bimini and open views in every direction, and two restrooms are cleaned between trips. Local island music plays over the boat's sound system. The cruise is BYOB: bring your favorite canned drinks, alcoholic or not, and the crew keeps them cold in a large cooler; complimentary bottled water is provided. It suits couples, friends and families looking for a relaxed evening on the water off Waikiki.

Additional Info
- Meeting point: the Three Tiki Sailing check-in at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, 95 Holomoana St, Honolulu, HI 96815, next to the Prince Waikiki hotel. Look for the Three Tiki Sailing signs at the entrance of Pau Hana Place and wait at the sign by the dock for a crew member. Arrive 30 minutes before departure. Use the street address for directions: searching "Three Tiki Sailing" in a ride app leads to the mailing address, not the dock. Paid harbor parking is available. This booking does not include transportation.
- Every ticketed guest must sign an individual waiver before boarding, and the QR ticket from the confirmation email is scanned at check-in.
- Tickets: adult (ages 13 and up) and child (ages 3 to 12). This booking covers guests aged 3 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- The swim stop is in the open ocean and swimming is optional. Guests who swim need basic swimming ability; the crew cannot teach swimming and may ask anyone it judges unsafe in the water to return to the boat.
- This cruise runs Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays the operator runs a separate fireworks cruise that leaves later and does not stop to swim; it is not part of this booking.
- What to bring: a swimsuit and towel if you plan to swim, reef-safe sunscreen (no spray sunscreen), sunglasses, a hat, a long-sleeve layer for the evening breeze, a camera and shoes that are easy to take off (no shoes are worn on board). Bring your own canned drinks and snacks if you like; no glass bottles. Guests must be 21 or older to have alcohol. Drones are not allowed on board. Storage on board is limited, so pack light.
- Accessibility: guests must be able to step onto the boat with minimal assistance, so the tour is not suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations. Space for wheelchairs and strollers is very limited. Tell the crew about young children at check-in so a child-size life jacket is ready. Expecting mothers are welcome after checking with their doctor. Guests prone to seasickness may want to bring ginger candies; the crew cannot provide medication.
- If the operator cancels a trip because of the weather, it helps you reschedule or issues a full refund. Tips are not included; 15-20% is customary.
